MCP: use #NotesApp from your AI assistant
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard way for AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT to use other services. #NotesApp has an MCP server, so you can ask your own assistant to find things on #NotesApp for you.
What it can do (anyone, no sign-in): find creators, journals, Notes Market items and Notes Academy courses; show a creator's open session times; and give you a booking link that opens the booking card on the time you picked.
It only reads. Booking, buying and paying always happen on #NotesApp itself, never inside the assistant.
How to add it: in your assistant's settings, add a remote MCP server (also called a custom connector or Streamable HTTP server) with the address `https://mcp.notesapp.name.ng` (`https://www.notesapp.name.ng/api/mcp` works too). The API docs list every tool, with an example.
Your own account: with an API key (the API and Console, for Enterprise accounts), your assistant can also read your own profile, journals, bookings, orders and earnings. Send the key as a Bearer token; its permissions apply. Every call is logged for 12 months, without the key itself.
Coming next: signing in with your #NotesApp account instead of a key, and tools that can draft posts and reply to bookings, always with your approval. There's no date yet.
