Circles: private group chats in your community
A Circle is a private group chat inside a community for the few people who work together: the choir, the ushers, the youth leaders, the board. See it with pictures on the Circles page.
Who has them: communities whose owner is on Business (or Enterprise). Only the owner and admins set them up.
How many people: up to 50 in a Circle, counting whoever sets it up. Only members of the community can be added. Someone who leaves the community, or is removed or banned, is taken out of its Circles too.
Setting one up: open the community's Circles tab, type a name (Choir, Ushers, Youth leaders), tick the members to add and tap Create the Circle. Admins can add or remove people later.
What's in it: a full group chat in Messages: text, photos, videos, voice notes, documents, stickers, replies, reactions, pins, and Media, links and docs in its ⋮ menu. Tap the phone or camera at the top for a free group call (up to 6 talking, or 4 on video), end-to-end encrypted.
Who sees it: members see the Circles they're in on the Circles tab, with Open chat. Admins see every Circle in the community. Nobody else sees a Circle or what's said in it.
