The #NotesApp Weekly Digest email

Every Sunday evening (from 5 PM, Lagos time) #NotesApp can email you a digest: up to ten journals published that week, chosen for you. The most viewed journals on your interests come first, with people you follow mixed in, then the week's most viewed. Your own posts are never in it.

Each story shows the writer's picture and name (and the organisation they wrote for), the title, the opening of the story, how long it takes to read, its views, and its likes and comments. Tap the title or Read more to open it; Read more in your feed opens your journal feed.

When there's something to show, the digest also has four items from Notes Market and four courses from Notes Academy, the week's most viewed on your interests first. Up to three sponsored slots, clearly labelled, carry a boosted journal, an advert and a boosted store item.

Turning it off: every digest has an Unsubscribe from the weekly digest link at the bottom (your email app's own Unsubscribe button works too), or switch it off under Emails in Account settings. Switch it back on there any time. Emails about your bookings, orders, payments and account always come, whatever you choose.

You need a confirmed email address to get it, and it only comes when there's something to read.
