The shop and basket on your site

When your site shows the Shop page (Your own site), it looks and works like an online shop, on every look.

What shoppers see: links across the top: New arrivals, then your own labels (your subcategories when you use any, otherwise the words you put on your items' pictures), most used first and up to five, then Most popular (more labels show as buttons under the search bar; spellings of one label count together, so "Ocasion wear" and "Occasion wears" are one link); a featured piece with its picture on the right inside the card (the item you marked Featured, or your most viewed); a bar with the number of products, search, sorting (newest, most popular, price, name) and bigger or smaller pictures; and your items as picture tiles, two to a row on phones, with Sold out and Only a few left. Fashion and beauty show tall photos; gadgets and parts show the whole product on white. The category, sort and search stay in the address, so you can share a link to New arrivals or one category.

The basket: tap + on a picture to add one (items with sizes or colours open their page to choose, then Add to basket). The basket icon in the header shows how many. In the basket, shoppers change quantities, enter one address, see one delivery price for everything, and pay once by card or bank. A basket holds up to 20 different items from one shop and lives on the shopper's device.

After they pay: each item becomes its own order on My orders, so you dispatch and track each as usual (send them together), and you're paid for each when its delivery is confirmed. Refunds work per item.

Announcement bar: type one line under Announcement bar on Your site (for example "Free delivery in Lagos this week") to show it across the top of every page.

When the shop is your main page and you have a cover photo, your cover runs across the whole page with Shop now.

No WhatsApp orders: sites don't have Order on WhatsApp buttons. Orders and payments stay on #NotesApp, where buyers are protected; a button saved before now says Contact us.
