Shipments for logistics businesses
For delivery, waybill, warehousing and home or office errand businesses on Business or Enterprise (For logistics businesses).
Your services: on Shipments, open Your services and tick what you do: delivery, waybill, bulk delivery, warehousing and despatch, home errands, office errands. An errands company ticks errands only; a full logistics company ticks everything. Only those can be booked, and your site lists them.
Book a shipment: choose the service, say what's being sent, the sender, where it's picked up (or stored), and the receiver's name, phone and address. You get a tracking number like NA-7K2M9QXD. Tap Send on WhatsApp (or SMS) to send the receiver their number and link.
Hand it on: under Record who has it now, add the rider, bus driver or park agent and where it is, then Get their update link and send it to them. From that link they update the location, hand it to the next person and mark it delivered, with no account. Each link stops working once the next person confirms. You can mark it delivered yourself, or cancel it while it's still only booked.
Your site's Track page: in Your site, switch on Track. Your site then has a Track link in its menu, a tracking box on Home with your services, and a page for each shipment, on your own domain at /track. Only your shipments show there. With Track off, links go to #NotesApp's Track a parcel page.
Your team: in an organisation, staff with store access can book and update shipments in your business's name.
Privacy: the receiver's phone number and address are only for you and your team. A rider's phone number shows only if they agreed, and only to someone who enters the last 4 digits of the receiver's phone number.
Deliveries are paid: you set your delivery prices and your customers pay them. Only digital items never need shipping.
